Massive open online courses (MOOCs) have paved a new learning path for the 21st-century world. The potential to reach massive geographically dispersed audience is one of major advantages MOOCs. Moreover, they can be offered on self-paced and self-regulated basis become an integral part lifelong learning, especially in workplaces. However, persistent problem lack learners’ engagement. A harmonisation studies providing holistic view into aggregating indicators enhancing engagement MOOCs lacking. coronavirus pandemic has accelerated MOOC adoption, even more essential success this educational innovation.
